Managed historic photograph database and led a project to create digital collections. First employee to implement ContentDm Digital Collection Management Software to create an online photograph collection. Published 12 collections consisting of 783 images online. Trained two staff on Microsoft Access and ContentDm applications. Applied Dublin Core metadata standards on data elements for digital collections. Scanned photographs and edited images using Adobe PhotoShop. Processed and converted digital images into various formats (jpeg and tiff). Developed the Web site, “LSU Campuses from 1903 to 2003.”

Implemented a Neural Network model for evaluation of fabric softness. Collected and analyzed data for my thesis to create a database used for selection of fabrics. Developed a new method to measure fabric drape using computer instead of manual measurement method. Captured fabric drape images and videos. Processed videos using Adobe Premier video editing software. Collaborated with a team member to develop a Web based database application to analyze the data using IIS and Microsoft Access.
